I
have a new computer...How do I configure it for my centric
account?
- Using The Windows XP New Connection Wizard to Configure Your PC for your Centric Internet Services Account
- Click the Start Button.
- Click All Programs.
- Choose the Accessories Program Group.
- Choose the Communications Program Group.
- Select the New Connection Wizard.

The
next screen displays the various types of connections that
can be configured using this wizard. Choose the first
option, Connect to the Internet then click Next.

On
the next page, select the option Set up my connection
manually and then click Next.

The
next screen asks how you connect to the Internet. Select
Connect using a dial-up modem then click Next.

The
next screen asks you to type the name of your service
provider. Type CENTRIC then click Next.

The
next screen asks for your ISP’s phone number. Enter the
dial-up number provided to you when you signed up.

The
next screen asks for your Internet Account Information. In
the user name field, enter your Centric email address. In
the password field enter the password you chose when you
signed up. Type your password again in the confirmation
field. All other options on this screen may be left
selected. After all information has been entered, click
Next.

You’re
almost done! On the next screen you’ll be told that you
have completed the steps to create your new connection.
Click Finish.
